This criminal history inquiry will only search those records resulting from an arrest which occurred within the state of Oregon. The Open Records Unit will report any record of a conviction and any record of an arrest less than one year old in which there has been no acquittal or dismissal. Open Records must notify the individual of the request and who is making the request. $33.00 per request (non-refundable).

Note: Your OR Portal account and completed request records are subject to automatic purge in accordance with Oregon Secretary of State and Oregon State Police records retention requirements. Accounts inactive for two (2) years (based on last login date) may be purged. Completed requests and associated data (billing records, invoices, and background check documents) may be purged two (2) years after request completion, regardless of account status.
